Making Sustainable Built Environments a Reality

The James Hardie EcoHouse at ManilaCon2010

Manila, Philippines — This year’s Construction Show Manila (MANILACON), will run from September 2 to 5 at the SMX Convention Center at the SM Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City. Its twin event, the Green Forum 2010, will be held from September 3 to 4.

Organized by L.A. Ducut and Company Inc. (LADCI) in partnership with Green Architecture Advocacy Philippines (GreenAP), MANILACON features innovative green technologies and sustainable built environments.

Activities include the Green Konsult, where the public can get advice from industry experts and the 2nd Green Archi Students Symposium. The James Hardie EcoHouse, designed by Arch. James Jao, can also be viewed at MANILACON. The EcoHouse showcases the latest green building products and designs for low cost housing.
